Poland Business Run
On September 3, we started as part of the “Poland Business Run”. This is the 12th edition of the largest charity relay in Poland.
With a smile on our faces and pride, we covered more kilometers, knowing that we were running for a noble cause, for prostheses, wheelchairs and rehabilitation (...).
On September 3, we took off for the Poland Business Run. This was the 12th edition of the largest charity relay in Poland, which aimed to support people with disabilities and after mastectomy.
Some of the runners met in Krakow, while the others competed in an online format. A total of more than 36,000 people signed up, all under the same motto "You run - you help."
"Every year the number of registered runners surprises us positively, and I hope that this time, too, the companies will put up numerous representations," he said. In addition to the teams that run with us every year, there are also many new participants on the start list, which makes us really happy, because we are all running for one charitable purpose," says Agnieszka Pleti, President of the Poland Business Run Foundation.
Thanks to the funds from team sign-ups, the Poland Business Run helps people with musculoskeletal dysfunctions, including amputees, every year.
Since the project's inception, nearly 900 beneficiaries have already received support in the form of prostheses, wheelchairs and rehabilitation. In 2021, post-mastectomy women in need of comprehensive rehabilitation joined the ranks of the Poland Business Run Foundation's charges. Since then, thanks to the Business Relay, 50 female beneficiaries have already benefited from such assistance.
The distance to be covered for each participant is 4 kilometers. From our company, 2 teams took off, a total of 10 people. Participation in the campaign was a great opportunity for us to integrate the team, but also provided a motivational incentive for employees, encouraging them to be active and interested in activities to help others.
